Thesis title: Study and Implementation of High Voltage Gain Converters Based on The Inverter Structure.
The purpose of this research is study and analysis on converters with high voltage gain such as impedance sourse, switched boost and multi level converters. In this project, a novel converter has been proposed based on Z suorce inverter with desirable features that in comarison with conventional ones, has higher voltage gain and also lower voltage stress on the diods and power switches which it demonestrates performance improvements. in addition, increasing duty cycle, decreases its output voltage ripple percentage. the proposed convertor has been compared with similar converters. The main equations have been obtained, which show the advantages of the proposed converter like: lower voltage stress, lower inductors inductance and higher voltage gain in comparison with the examined samples. Also, a laboratory prototype of the proposed converter has been provided based on analysis and theoretical parts which guarantees its operation under different conditions, DC to DC and DC to AC voltage conversion.
